The Board is requested to recognize and honor the life and service of Lewis McCallum, a founding member of Bull City United, Durham County Government’s violence prevention program.
Lewis McCallum worked tirelessly and at great personal risk to save many other lives in Durham County over the past two years by mediating violent conflicts and modeling non-violent conflict resolution. The Durham community is truly blessed because of his work and his example, an is a better and safer place to live.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board recognize and honor the life and service of Lewis McCallum, a founding member of Bull City United, Durham County Government’s violence prevention program.
