The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No.19BCC000020 to recognize $2,000 from Shift NC “All Together Now” for the Youth Home. The Youth Home received the first installation award in May of 2016 (Fiscal Year 2015-16). These funds are a continuation of the original grant award.
The project will help build and strengthen a referral network to link young people to quality care. The funds will be used to purchase materials to educate youth on health lifestyles.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This request aligns with Goal 3: Safe Community, Goal 2: Health and Well-being for All and Goal 5: Accountable, Efficient and Visionary Government.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No.19BCC000020 to recognize $2,000 from Shift NC: “All Together Now” for the Youth Home.
