The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 19BCC000030 to recognize 10,000 from UNC School of Government for opioid crisis activity.
UNC School of Government has launched an intensive two-year collaborative learning model that will provide direct support to 10 Counties including Durham, North Carolina through Durham Joins Together. The Collaborative brings organizations together such as Together for Resilient Youth (TRY), The Durham County Department of Public Health and community agencies/members interested in enacting an integrated and innovative policy and practice response to their local opioid crisis. These funds will support the project manager for the Collaborative.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment. Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
