The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 21BCC000082 to recognize funds in the amount of $877,282 from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health Epidemiology/Communicable Disease Branch for COVID-19 Prevention.
These funds are to be used to enhance laboratory testing capacity, increase workforce by hiring temp staff, support epidemiology/surveillance activities expand informatics and provide lodging and wrap-around services as described for individuals while under state or federal quarantine and isolation orders.
Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment
