The Board is requested to receive a proposal request seeking a $50,000 investment from Durham County to support efforts towards the redevelopment of Durham’s Historic Hayti District.
This redevelopment would also include a particular focus on the former Fayetteville Street Apartments. Mr. McKoy also shared this information with City of Durham seeking the same investment at their February 18, 2021 Work Session.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board receive a proposal request seeking a $50,000 investment from Durham County to support efforts towards the redevelopment of Durham’s Historic Hayti District.
