The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance No. 24BCC00086 Community Intervention & Support Services to Recognize $50,000 from the City of Durham Interlocal Agreement (ILA) to Support Coordinated Programmatic and Systems-Level Strategies in Community Intervention. The County and City desire to support the critical services of the Community Intervention & Support Services Department. These services include, but are not limited to, programs that support people at the highest risk of being victims or perpetrators of violence and that provide direct support to professionals who have credibility in the Durham Community, who can reach out to those at the center of gun violence, build relationships, and work to prevent violence in the Durham Community.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This Interlocal Agreement aligns with Strategic Goal 2: Health & Well-Being
