The Board is requested to proclaim April 2024 as National County Government Month. Durham County will celebrate NCGM to showcase how counties support healthy, safe, and vibrant communities.
The theme for this year’s celebration of NCGM is “ForwardTogether.”
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This proclamation aligns with Community & Family Prosperity and Enrichment, Health & Well-being for All, and Accountable, and Efficient, and Visionary Government

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board proclaim April 2024 as National County Government Month.
