The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 24BCC00100 Public Health to Recognize $50,000 from NC DHHS Division of Public Health’s Local and Community Support Section.
These funds are provided through budget receipts transferred from the ARPA Temporary Savings fund and are available through the NCGA 2023 Appropriations Act, HB 259, which provides $50,000 grant in each year of the 2023-2025 fiscal biennium to each local health department to support activities authorized under the General Aid-to-County Agreement Addendum including the delivery of the 10 Essential Public Health Services.
Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment.
