The Board is requested to receive a presentation from the Office of Emergency Services - Emergency Management on the declaration of local emergencies. The presentation will cover what an emergency declaration is, when it is needed, the process for making a declaration, and the declaration template.

Resource Persons: Elizabeth Schroeder, MSN, CPDM, CHEC-III, NHDP-BC, Chief Emergency Manager, Office of Emergency Services and Mark Lockhart, NRP, Director, Office of Emergency Services.
County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board receives this presentation from the Office of Emergency Services - Emergency Management.
