The Board is requested to receive the 2024 Durham Open Space and Trails Commission Annual Report.
Summary
DOST is made up of 17 voting members: eight appointed by the City Council, eight by the Board of County Commissioners, and one from the city’s Recreation Advisory Commission. The purpose of DOST is to provide advice to the Board of County Commissioners and City Council on matters relating to open space creation, preservation, and trail development. The Commission has completed its 2024 annual report, as required by the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Durham and Durham County.
