The Board is requested to proclaim April 11 - 17, 2025, as Black Maternal Health Week in Durham County, NC.
The purpose of this proclamation is to increase awareness around the state of Black Maternal Health and promote activism and investment in solutions.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Strategic Plan Goal - Health & Inclusive Community and Empowered Community.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board proclaim April 11 - 17, 2025, as Black Maternal Health Week in Durham County, NC.
