The Board is requested to proclaim April 18, 2025, as Lineworker Appreciation Day in Durham County, NC.
Lineworkers are our hometown heroes, first responders, and skilled professionals who do what needs to be done to keep the electricity flowing to the families and businesses in our communities. The work they do-often in grueling and dangerous conditions-powers our lives.
