The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to enter into a $149,500 contract to purchase paving, stripping and repair services from KPH Paving & Landscaping, Inc.  Locations to be refurbished include (1) Durham County EMS 6 Building, followed by remaining facilities at (2) Durham Center Access, (3) EMS #1, (4) Durham County Cooperative Extension Building, (5) Foster Street Parking Lot, (6) Durham County Main Library, (7) The Durham County Community Shelter, (8) Durham County General Services Building, (9) Durham County Main Fueling Station, and (10) Justice Services Center.  The approved funding to support this project uses Pay-As-You-Go capital funds allocated to support the County’s Ongoing Parking Lot Resurfacing Program (4190DC074).

 

Alignment with Strategic Plan: Safe and reliable parking and transportation supporting citizens across our county departments align with (Sustainable Infrastructure and Environment) of the Strategic Plan.
