The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to enter into a janitorial services contract with Joy Cleaning Service LLC for Admin I and William Bell Building in the annual amount of $257,100.00, plus $23,088.00 annually for restaurant cleaning services, for a total annual contract amount of $280,188.00, subject to the review and approval of the County Attorney's Office, for fiscal year (FY) 2026-2027 with the option to renew annually for an additional 4 fiscal years, each ending June 30. Funding is available in the current FY 2026-2027 budget.

The Focus on a Safe & Resilient Community under Objective SR 2 - Create happy, healthy, and safe places for residents and County employees. And the Focus on Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment under Objective SI 1 - Plan for the long-term use of County land, facilities, and equipment. Overall, this action supports the County’s goal of delivering efficient, dependable, and high-quality services while protecting and maintaining County facilities and resources for long-term public use.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board authorize the County Manager to enter into service contract with Joy Cleaning Services in the amount of $280,188.00, subject to the review and approval of the County Attorney’s Office, for the procurement of janitorial services of Admin 1, William Bell Buildings and Restaurant for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027, as well as authorize the County Manager to execute future contract amendments if cost of future amendments had been allocated within the General Services Budget.
