The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to execute a contract with Velasquez Digital Media Communications, LLC in an amount not to exceed $167,100.
Funding is included in the FY 26-27 Budget. Velasquez Digital Media provide broadcasts of all regular County Commissioners’ meetings, the monthly work session, along with any other special video projects that are requested to assist Durham County’s overall communications to the public. The team also creates monthly announcements from information provided by staff, in a format designed to air on our various building lobby screens and DTV8. Velasquez Digital Media Communications, LLC has provided reliable and innovative broadcast services to Durham County Government and also tapes and edits the County’s monthly TV show.
