The Board is requested to approve Capital Project Amendment No. 25CPA011 transferring $900,000 of available Debt Service Fund dollars to the PAYGO Fund to support the creation of a new DTCC Roof Replacement with an appropriation of $900,000.
Durham Tech is currently dealing with a major roof problem in the Collins Building. The roof needs to be replaced immediately as additional leaks have developed that cannot be patched. Funds are requested in Durham Tech’s 2025-2034 CIP request for roof replacement. These funds were first requested be available in FY 2025-26. Due to the nature and urgency of this project we are requesting that the FY 2025-26 funds be move to FY 2024-25.
