Approve and authorize the Manager to execute a Resolution and Lease Agreement with Squared Corner Holdings, LLC, D/B/A Suite Cutz, for a suite at Shoppes of Hope Valley, located at 3825 S. Roxboro Street, pending final approval of the Lease Agreement by the County Attorney’s Office.
Per General Statute 160A-272, the County may lease surplus space with the adoption of a Resolution allowing the leasing of said property.
This lease is with Squared Corner Holdings, LLC, who will be doing business under the name XXX as a barber shop suites operator, for a 10-year term and total value of $350,844.14, which nis the $366.844.00 in the public notice minus the six months of rent abatement during the tenant’s initial build-out. Squared Corner Holdings will occupy Suite 138 at Shoppes of Hope Valley. Please see attachment 1 for the Lease, attachment 2 for the Resolution, and attachment 3 for the Affidavit confirming public notice.
