The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 27BCC042 Community Intervention & Support Services to Recognize $130,000 From the Durham County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) Grant for Gang Prevention and Intervention. These funds will support work of Project BUILD - a multi-disciplinary gang prevention and intervention program that provides coordinated case management and services to youth and young adults between the ages of 10 and 21 who are at high risk of gang involvement.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This request aligns with the County’s Strategic Goal 2: Community Health and Well-Being.
