The Board is requested to proclaim September 14 - 20, 2026, as National Diaper Need Awareness Week in Durham County and raises awareness of diaper need as a public health and economic issue affecting local families.
The proclamation also recognizes the work of Diaper Bank of North Carolina and its community partners in providing diapers and other basic necessities to families in need throughout Durham County.
