The Board is requested to proclaim June 29, 2024, as Durham Refugee Day.
Durham Refugee Day is to celebrate the courage, strength, and determination of refugees and immigrants living in Durham and showcase the Durham community striving to be more inclusive for all, including refugees and immigrants.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Community Prosperity

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board proclaim June 29, 2024, as Durham Refugee Day.
