The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 27BCC046 recognizing $475,000 in grant funds to Cooperative Extension for the Golden Leaf Foundation Farm Campus Grant.
The $475,000 Golden Leaf Foundation grant was accepted by the Board of County Commissioners on March 9, 2026. The funds for this 3-year grant were unspent in FY 2026 and require reauthorization in the current fiscal year. This technical amendment supports Durham County’s work to support and develop initial staffing, programming, and infrastructure for the Durham County Farm Campus as previously approved by the Board.
