The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 25BCC020 to Recognize $100,000 from NC DHHS Division of Public Health’s Local and Community Support Section to Support the 10 Essential Public Health Services
These funds are provided through budget receipts transferred from the ARPA Temporary Savings fund and are available through the NCGA 2023 Appropriations Act, HB 259, which provides a $100,000 grant to the local health department to support activities authorized under the General Aid-to-County Agreement Addendum including the delivery of the 10 Essential Public Health Services.
Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment.
