The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to enter into a service contract amendment with Raftelis (FR 25-501)(RFP 24-048) to provide Financial Planning, Rate Study, and Support Services for the Utilities Division in the amount of $44,793.75 bringing the total contract amount from $55,000 to $99,793.75 and to execute any other related contract amendments not to exceed $110,000, subject to budget availability. This contract is funded by the Sewer Utility Enterprise Fund.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This action is in accordance with Durham County Strategic Plan focused on Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment and Financial Stewardship as this study ensures the Division can adequately fund sewer operations, known and projected capital improvement costs and bond debt, while keeping rates affordable.
