Agenda Text
The Durham County Department of Public Health (DCoDPH), Partnership for a Healthy Durham, and Duke Health collaborate every three years to design, implement, analyze, and present the survey data from the latest Durham County Community Health Assessment (CHA). The 2025 County-wide survey was conducted between March and June 2025 and reached more than 1200 Durham County residents.
A Community Health Assessment is a process of collecting, analyzing, and sharing information about community assets and needs. Community members and stakeholders gather and supply data to aid in understanding the health issues of the county. The process results in the selection of community health priorities.
Data is vital in giving an accurate picture of Durham County’s health and driving decisions to best improve health outcomes for all Durham residents.
