The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to enter into a contract with Siemen’s Industry for the purpose of replacing the fire alarm systems in the 6 facilities, owned by Durham County, in the amount of $335,149.00.  The County Manager also recommends the Board to allow the County Manager to sign off on subsequent extensions, change orders or amendments associated with this contract, as necessary, so long as funds are available.

 

Alignment with Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Durham County Strategic Goal: Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment- SI1a Develop and implement a sustainable and equitable infrastructure plan.
