The Board is requested to formally adopt the ARPA/SLFRF Conflict of Interest Policy and the ARPA/SLFRF Non-Discrimination Policy at the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) level. These policies have already been established and are currently in place governing the County's administration of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF); however, formal BOCC adoption is needed to create an additional, higher level of approval and oversight for these policies.
The Conflict-of-Interest Policy promotes fair and impartial decision-making in the award and management of ARPA/SLFRF contracts, while the Non-Discrimination Policy affirms the County's commitment to equitable program administration.
