The Board is requested to approve the Interlocal Agreement with Central Pines Regional Council (CPRC), formerly known as the Triangle J Council of Governments, and to authorize the County Manager to sign the agreement. Per the agreement, CPRC will provide planning and technical assistance for the Triangle Region Solid Waste Consortium. The Consortium was formed to facilitate collaboration and coordination between local government jurisdictions in solid waste and recycling. The dues for the Solid Waste Division to participate in the Consortium will be $1,861.78 and will be funded through the Solid Waste Division’s operating budget.
