The Board is requested to proclaim June 15, 2026, as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and to assist in spreading the word about recognizing and reporting elder abuse in the form of neglect, abuse, or financial exploitation. Seniors deserve the right to live independent and safe in their homes and communities.
