The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 27BCC024 Public Health to Recognize $300,000 from Carolina Complete Health’s Community Reinvestment funding for Durham County’s Health Consortium: Project Access Durham County
Through Durham County’s Health Consortium, Durham County Department of Public Health and Project Access Durham County have been awarded funding aimed at supporting innovative projects that address social drivers of health and advance health equity in North Carolina. Funds will be used to improve health outcomes for people by addressing barriers to health care and providing resources to uninsured or underinsured individuals through a comprehensive approach to care.
Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment.
