The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to execute the Utility Agreement for the relocation and upsizing of a Durham County Lift Station and related appurtenances for Lumley Road Multifamily. The scope of work includes a new Page Pointe lift station; abandonment of existing Page Pointe lift station; gravity sewer extension from existing lift station to new lift station; construction of new force main from new lift station to discharge manhole T-12-092 in Rathie Drive; and abandonment of existing force main per the County Utilities’ approved construction plans.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Durham County Strategic Goal: Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment, as this lift station serves multiple home sites and businesses.
