The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 26BCC082 to Recognize $3,590 from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child and Family Well-Being, Whole Child Health Section (WCHS)/School, Adolescent, and Child Health Unit (SACH) for the Maternal-Child Health Block Grant for Primary and Preventative Care

 

Local health departments received a one-time increase in Maternal-Child Health Block Grant (MCHBG) funds, available through the current FY 25-26. This Agreement Addendum ensures the provision of preventive and primary health care services in accordance with North Carolina Administrative Code 10A NCAC 46.0204. This additional funding must be spent by May 31, 2026.

 

The Board of Health has approved this amendment.
