The Board is requested to review and discuss the current list of proposed 2027 Durham County local legislative goals received from departments and commissioners. County Commissioners may add additional suggestions for staff to develop. Following this discussion, a final list will be completed and prepared for review at the next regular session. Once the list is approved, it will be shared during a future meeting with members of the Durham Legislative Delegation.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board review and discuss the proposed local legislative goals and add any new items so that staff may appropriately format and finalize the list and place this item on the November 9th Agenda for approval.
