The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 27BCC002 Cooperative Extension to Recognize $17,500 from NC State’s 4-H Program for FY 2026-2027 Kids Voting Activities. The funds are managed through Extension’s Community Outreach fund center and program area. These resources from the NC State 4-H program will enable the Extension’s Kids Voting program to fund contractors and program supplies to enhance its existing voting & elections curriculum and implement training and tools for adult program leaders, youth leaders, and volunteers to implement Kids Voting education and election programs through a statewide Kids Voting NC 4-H partnership.
