The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 25BCC077 to Recognize $26,250 from the Communicable Disease Branch of the North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services
These funds are an amendment to the existing Integrated Targeted Testing Services grant provided through the Communicable Disease Branch of the North Carolina of Health & Human Services. The additional funds provide $26,250 to provide targeted mpox education and referral services at hours that are accessible to persons at high risk, especially to men who have sex with men, transgender individuals, and those communities with high incidence of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment.
