The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to amend the contract with GFL Environmental to provide Curbside Recycling Services to Households in Unincorporated Durham County in an amount not to exceed $513,874.36. This amendment will extend the length of the contract for one year, July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. This cost increase is in compliance with the contract’s cap of 2% based on the CPI for All Urban Consumers for US City Average. During the period February 2025 to February 2026
This will be the fourth extension of this contract.
