The Board is requested to approve a resolution to appoint County Review Officers and to cancel the duties of former County Review Officers who are no longer employed by the county. N.C.G.S. 47-30.2 requires the Board of County Commissioners in each County, by resolution, to appoint a person or persons to serve as Review Officer to review each plat before it is recorded and to certify that it meets the statutory requirements for recording. One of the services Town of Morrisville staff provides to the community is a technical process of plat review in order to verify compliance with the Town’s development regulations.
