The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 18BCC000029 to recognize funds in the amount of $2,000 for Project BUILD.
SHIFT-NC and the Durham County Department of Public Health, through Project BUILD, have agreed to collaborate to increase the number of young people from Project BUILD accessing sexual and reproductive health services. Project BUILD outreach workers will refer their youth to services with the aim of contributing to the long-term goal of reducing teen pregnancy and births.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment.
Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
