The Board is requested to consider a resolution declaring prescription opioids a public health nuisance in Durham County.

 

Alignment with Strategic Plan: Goal 2 - Health & Well-being for All; Goal 3 - Safe & secure Community; Goal 5 - Accountable, Efficient and Visionary Government

County Manager’s Recommendation:  The Manager recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chair to sign the attached resolution formally declaring prescription opioids to be a public health nuisance in Durham County.
