The Board is requested to receive updates from Alliance Behavioral Healthcare. The updates will cover various housing initiatives, System of Care, Medicaid reform, and opioid and community program updates.
Both access to safe and affordable housing and the supports necessary to successfully maintain housing continue to be a challenge in Durham County. Alliance will be requesting County Commissioner support to convene a Supportive Housing Committee that will identify opportunities for supportive housing pilots through a system mapping exercise conducted by the Corporation for Supportive Housing.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board receive the updates from Alliance Behavioral Healthcare and provide direction to staff as appropriate.
