The Board is requested to receive the 2017 Historic Preservation Commission Annual Report. The Interlocal Agreement between the City of Durham and Durham County requires that the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) submit an annual report to both governing bodies.

Alignment with Strategic Plan: Staff finds the request to align with Goal Five, “Accountable, Efficient and Visionary Government” of the strategic plan. Attached with the report is a letter from the board chair and a report of the attendance of all members.
Resource Persons: Karla Rosenberg, AICP, Planner and Patrick Young, Planning Director.
County Manager’s Recommendation: The Manager recommends that the Board receive the report.
