The Board is requested to recognize the commitment and contributions made by both citizens and professional staff that participate in planning and plan implementation for the improvement of our community and the 30th anniversary of the Durham City-County Planning Department by proclaiming October 2018 as Community Planning Month.

 

Alignment With Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Goal 4: Environmental Stewardship and Community Prosperity and Goal 2: Objective 2.2 Healthy Community.

County Manager’s Recommendation:  The County Manager recommends that the Board proclaim October 2018 as Community Planning Month.
