The Board is requested to receive an update from Central Piedmont Community Action, Inc. (CPCA).
CPCA will report the year end outcomes for the program year ending June 30, 2018 and the successes the organization has had in Durham County. The goal of the Community Services Block Grant Program is the reduction of poverty, the revitalization of low-income communities and the empowerment of the low-income families and individuals to become fully self-sufficient.
Alignment With Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Goal 1: Community Empowerment and Enrichment of the County’s Strategic Plan.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board receive a report from the Central Piedmont Community Action, Inc.
