The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 19BCC000026 to recognize funds from the City of Durham in the amount of $3,913 for Project BUILD.
The City of Durham and the Durham County Department of Public Health, through Project BUILD, have agreed to collaborate and jointly fund Project BUILD. An additional $3,913 was approved in the interlocal agreement for operating costs that was not included in the original Public Health budget request.
The Board of Health has approved this amendment. Please note that this amendment requires no additional County funds.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This grant aligns with Strategic Goal 2: Health and Well-being for All and Strategic Goal 3: Public Safety.
