The Board is requested to thank Dr. Deborah Crandall for serving as the Interim Director of Durham County Cooperative Extension from October 8, 2018 - February 28, 2019. Dr. Crandall is a graduate of Bennett College (BS Degree) and NC State University (Master of Science and Doctoral Degrees in Adult Education). She served 34 years in a variety of roles in NC Cooperative Extension including the Director of the Mecklenburg County Center and District Director. She was retired for more than eight years when she willingly accepted the call to serve as Interim Director of the Durham County Center. During her short time with us, Dr. Crandall worked with the team to improve and continue the very positive trajectory that was in place.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board thank Dr. Deborah Crandall for serving as Interim Director of Durham County Cooperative Extension from October 8, 2018 through February 28, 2019.
