The Board is requested to proclaim Sunday, April 7, 2019 as Durham CROP Hunger Walk Day. This year will mark the 45th annual Durham Crop Hunger Walk Day. Each year, Durham comes together to support the local agencies that provide food to families and individuals in great need. Kaaren Johannson, Crop Walk Coordinator will provide remarks.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This proclamation aligns with strategic Goal 1: Community and Family Prosperity and Enrichment

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board approve the proclamation and present to Ms. Kaaren Johannson, Crop Walk Coordinator.
