The Board is requested to proclaim the month of May 2019 as Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month. Children’s mental health awareness is essential to support positive mental health development and well-being for all children, youth and young adults. The month of May is dedicated to promoting education on mental health and acknowledging the importance of mental health treatment services to strengthen families and youth leadership development.
