The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to enter into a contract amendment to increase the existing contract with McGill Environmental Systems, Inc. (FR# 19-177) for the transport and disposal of wastewater treatment plant residuals (RFP 17-023) in the amount of $8,877.98, bringing the total contract amount from $252,920.00 to $261,797.98 and to execute any other related contracts, including amendments, not to exceed $265,000.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This action is in accordance with Durham County Strategic Plan Goal 4: “Environmental Stewardship and Community Prosperity,” as this ensures we are complying with State and Federal regulations as well as protecting the environment.
