The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to enter into a contract amendment to increase the existing purchase of goods contract with Polydyne, Inc. (FR# 19-406) for polymer (IFB 18-042) in the amount of $5,399.20, bringing the total contract amount from $85,000 to $90399.20, and to execute any other related contracts, including amendments, not to exceed $101,784.20.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This action is in accordance with Durham County Strategic Plan Goal 4: “Environmental Stewardship and Community Prosperity,” as these chemicals are necessary for the Triangle Wastewater Treatment Plant to meet all permit limitations as specified in the facility’s NPDES permit.
