The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 19BCC000062 for increased funding in the amount of 392,137 for 10 Public Health replacement vehicles and the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system conversion and authorize the County Manager to execute a contract with UNC Health System with the funding source being the recognition of a portion of Medicaid Cost settlement funds received in current fiscal year 2019 above the amount originally budgeted.

 

Recognized Medicaid Cost Settlement funds in the amount of $248,780 will be used to replace 10 (2007) aging vehicles in the Environmental Health fleet and $143,357 will be used to migrate from our current Electronic Health Record (EHR) Patagonia to the Epic system.
