The Board is requested to receive information regarding a proposed federal rule change that will alter the methodology of calculating the federal poverty guideline thresholds and receive information on potential impacts of this change. The Board is requested to receive information regarding public comment to the rule change and the process to provide feedback regarding the proposed rule change.

The information being provided aligns with Strategic Goal 2, Health and Well-Being for All as the rule change could potentially impact eligibility for programs that support health and nutritional services.
